Publishing Data
You can participate in the dissemination of data collected by your personal weather station by enabling Weather Station to publish outdoor data like temperature, pressure, humidity, dew point, wind and rain.
Note that no data from inside your home (noise, temperature, CO₂ …) are published, unless you explicitly stipulate otherwise.
Stickertags
The stickertags format is a specific delimited text format. This format allows to exchange meteorological data with some great services like *WN sites. These sites are local, national or transnational weather networks initiated by Ken True from Saratoga Weather which actively consumes stickertags files produced by amateur meteorologists, like you and me.
Here is a list of some of these networks to start with:
To activate the stickertags file generation, just check the right checkbox of the relevant station view and save changes. The file generated will be available at specific URLs in realtime (i.e. it will contains the latest data if this is fresher than 15 minutes).
If you have some trouble with stickertags files which are not as you expect, please see specific cache option.
YoWindow
This XML format allows you to use the meteorological data of your station in the software YoWindow.
To activate the YoWindow file generation, just check the right checkbox of the relevant station view and save changes. The file generated will be available at specific URLs in realtime (i.e. it will contains the latest data if this is fresher than 15 minutes).
Other formats
If the format you are interested in is not listed here, don’t hesitate to submit it as a suggestion… I would see if it is possible for Weather Station to manage it in a future release.
