Hello Chris.

The words and strings speaking about weather conditions are of 2 types:

  • strings starting with a lower case are mainly strings representing current conditions: they are the "translation" of the current weather icons (you can find a summary on the OWM website);
  • strings starting with a upper case are mainly strings of future conditions, as computed with Zambretti forecast (implemented in Weather Station 3.8): you will find one weather condition, sometimes followed by a second condition. It's purely forecast.

Is it helping you?

If you like Weather Station, please consider to make a review to help make it known. That would be the best way to thank me...

Yap, the hint to the OWM website helped, Zambretti is clear.

Thank you!

With German and Swiss version now almost finished, I found two smaller issues:

  • Should it really be called Ski (not Sky) in this and this String?
  • This section shows you the the available shortcodes types for the long-term data.
    I think one "the" should be deleted at the beginning and "shortcode types" is better than "shortcodes types".

Besides that, that's it then ????

Hello Chris.

Regarding the word "ski", I confirm: Navionics offers maps of ski resorts and slopes...

Regarding the string "This section shows you the the available shortcodes types for the long-term data", you're right,  it seems better to write it "This section shows you the the available shortcode types for long-term data". I will push a modification in 3-4 hours for this strings and same for current, daily and historical (so, a total of 4 strings)...

Thanks for the suggestion 😉

Hello dear polyglots.

As we are less than 3 hours from the release of 3.8, I mark this conversation as "solved". Feel free to open new threads for questions or translation problems - if any 😉

Thank for all your hard work and see you soon ????
