Is it possible to add .htm support for weatherlink stations?
Like the data here:
Hello! Could you tell me which software produce the file you gave as example? Maybe it could be done, but I must know which is the "true" format behind it ...

It is from weatherlink software. It's an .htx file converted to .htm when uploaded to server.
I'm assuming it's an auto-export... Is there options to export at other formats? I think it's possible to export to realtime.txt file with the right template. If it's the case, could you give it a try, as realtime.txt is a standard format natively compatible with Weather Station?

Not possible. I have almost 200 stations that exports at .htm file and its impossible to change to txt. I do not think weatherlink has this option too. Most of the weather software can export to .htm files (weatherlink, cumulus, weewx, weather display) so it shall be a good add to support .htm
Hello kokos.
I'm must admit I'm a little bit confused to answer you. Here's why :
- Your file has an .htm extension which seems to says it should contain html (a markup language), but it's not the case ;
- Your file contains raw text data, and the correct extension for it is usually .txt.
But it's not really a problem because Weather Station is able to "parse" data from a file regardless of its extension (even if it's wrongly named). As a matter of fact, the important point here is what's your file containing (in terms of format / syntax / ...)? If you have the specification of this type of file, I should implement it in Weather Station. So don't hesitate to send it me, and I will get an eye on it.
Nevertheless, I draw your attention to the fact that WeatherLink (as all weather softwares I know) is able to auto-export its data in the following standard formats:
- Stickertags
- Clientraw
- Realtime
Which are natively supported by Weather Station.
To make the export available in WeatherLink, you just have to use the right .htx file. You can find an example of how to setup a stickertags export here: http://www.australiawx.net/instructions.php
I hope this clarifies the subject a bit for you...

Where can i sent you the file?
Hello Kokos. If you have a link to the specification just give me the link in a comment. If it's a big file (like pdf) you can send it me by mail at weather@station.software...

Thanks a lot. I will see what I can do... Could you just tell me the name (and hopefully a mail contact) of the person who wrote this file. There's some missing informations I must have to configure the parser.

Ohhhhh. I've just hit the point: IT IS AN .HTX file! So you effectively use templating system. So why not using .htx files to generate standard files like stickertags, clientraw or realtime?

All the Greek National stations use this file format. Also many private stations follow the same format. I do not know why. We are talking about 300 stations that use this .htx to .htm conversion.
OK. I begin to assemble the pieces: these are not stations that you manage... It's like "public stations"! Am I right?

There is one i manage only. All the others are public.
Ok. I see well... I will investigate in this htx file and see if I can find someone to answer to my questions on it...
