Happy 2021 everyone! I hope you where able to keep healthy, and hope you stay safe in this new year.

So, a new year ahead, and I am wondering... Will there be upgrades and updates for Weather.Station.software in the pipeline? It has been a while since we all heard from @pierre-lannoy

I hope @pierre-lannoy finds a moment to give us all a  'newyear's speech' about the future plans with this fabulous weather enthusiasts software!

Lets make 2021 a good one!

Gerhard

So good to know you are still watching the weather Gerhard!  I also want to thank @pierre-lannoy for this excellent, highly capable weather station software.  I find new capabilities almost every day :).

I wish everyone in the Weather.Station.Software community a happy New Year!

Hello Gerhard and Ken!

First of all, let me wish you, with a little delay, all the best for this new year. It will certainly be a very special one… like 2020!
I hope 2021 will be filled for you with success, achievement and joy with your family.

For my part, I know that I have been very little present these last 18/24 months… And this will be the case again for 2021! I do apologize in advance…

But I have not been inactive during this time and will not be more so this new year ????

I am currently working on something really big. It involves WordPress and data visualization. And of course, it's about weather data, among other things.

I can't really tell you much more at the moment because the work I still have to do is huge. But I can reassure you on one thing: I have never given up the idea of providing anyone who wants to be able to collect, manipulate and visualize weather data with WordPress in a free and open source way.

This future product should see the light of day in 2022 if everything goes the way I want it to.

In the meantime, as you can understand, there won't be any major evolution of the Weather Station plugin. All my energy (and the free time left to me by my family and my work) is devoted to this new product - a set of plugins.

Be well and take care of yourself and your loved ones.
Pierre

Note: there will be a "maintenance release" of Weather Station (just bug fixes) in March, just after the release of WordPress 5.7.

If you like Weather Station, please consider to make a review to help make it known. That would be the best way to thank me...

@pierre-lannoy

Thanks Pierre for your reply.

Great to hear from you. I'm quite curious about your latest plans! 2022 sounds like a long wait. But I guess for creating something great it isn't such a long time! ????

Also thanks for the coming maintenance-update. Good to know it is still well-kept.

So, if I can in any way help you on your new project, in testing or translating, let me know!

kind regards, stay safe!

Gerhard

Wonderful to know you are doing well @pierre-lannoy
Classical design works such as your Weather Station Plugin never go out of style, and are remembered fondly.  I continue to find gems in your postings of help to others -- most recently I used your style sheets help to style a radial bar chart beautifully. I anxiously look forward to seeing your new design work when the time arrives.

Like @gerhard, I offer help if there is anything I can do.

Kind Regards,

Hi @pierre-lannoy,

It's good to have you back! And I'm really curious on what's coming next. Weather Station is as reliable as ever and my clients really appreciate using it. As always, I offer my help for testing, translating or just a little brain storming ????

Chris

I like the cold weather. It means you get work done.
