Dear Mr. Lannoy,
I just started to play with Weather Station. So far pretty happen π
I'm using a Davis VP2 and send every 2 minutes the Clientraw.txt to my FTP server.
But if I look at the wind strength graphic, I sometimes see a 5 minutes time difference between 2 measure points, but sometimes also an hour or longer.
Any idea what the reason could be?
Hello @arphotography, glad you like my plugin π
The behavior you see is due to the way WordPress is built. Fortunately, there's a way to avoid this and to have a very regular collection of data. I suggest you read this article to understand how to do it...
Don't hesitate to ask if you have additional question on this subject.
If you like Weather Station, please consider to make a review to help make it known. That would be the best way to thank me...
Hello Pierre,
Thank you for your quick reply.
I will have a look at it and see if it solves my issue.
Will let you know.

Hello Arno!
Did you finally succeed in setting your cron?

Hi Pierre,
Sorry for not responding (yet).
Pretty busy lately.
I was able to modify the cron file and now see a constant 5 min measurement.
Thank you for the instruction link.
I set the time in the cron file to 1 minute and in Weather Station, I set Task scheduler activity to fast.
But still, I see only the 5-minute interval on the graphic.
And I have some additional question, like:
-Can I set the time view to 3 or 6 hours?
-Wind direction I see only degrees, not NESW?
-Is it possible to get a 10 or 30 min average for windspeed (gust), so you get a more consistent line (see attached files)
-For some reason, I cannot get wind speed and gust in one graphic.
As you can see, I'm at this moment mostly focussed on the wind information, as I'm a kiter π
Probably more question will come when I play more with the software π
So far, you did an amazing job!!
And have a great Easter weekend
Arno

Cool. That's a very good news... So, I mark this discussion as solved.
If you have other questions - and it seems you do π - could you please create new post(s) and give the more details you can (what control, chart or widget, etc.)
Thanks. It helps me to follow all question/bug/issue/suggestion/etc...
